WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS
Usually via email, text, phone call, or a complimentary 15 minute Zoom consultation, share as much detail as possible about your Wix website design project. Whether it is redesigning your Wix website, migrating your existing website to Wix, mobile website optimisation, new website design, e-commerce website design or advanced website development.
Based on the information you provide in the discovery phase, you will be sent a proposal via email that has a complete list of what is included in your website design package and an estimated timeline for completing your website design. At this step you can either click the accept quote button or contact us to discuss additional add ons or questions you may have.
If you made the amazing decision to start working together the next step will be signing your website design contract and making a 50% deposit. Your invoice will be sent via email and has the option to make payment using any debit/credit card, or bank details for payments made using bank transfer or Wise Money Transfer (popular choice for international clients).
You will be sent a link to your website onboarding form via email. Google Forms is used for this so you will need to login with a Google email address to complete this (they are very easy and fast to create if you do not have one). The form includes sections for you to upload your logo files, font files, website copy, images or videos, outline your website requirements and much more. Websites that require Wix Stores or Wix Bookings Apps etc will be sent additional forms where needed.
RESEARCH & PLANNING
When you have finished your required onboarding form(s) we will read through the information you provided and contact you if any additional information is required. Otherwise based on that we will start researching and planning your new website design such as images/videos we might use.
We start by designing your Wix Website on desktop view. When we feel like it's ready for you to provide your feedback you will be sent a link using the Wix Feedback feature where you can add comments on exact areas on the website that may need editing. 3 business days is allowed for completing your feedback to ensure do not affect other clients design timeline. We will then make any edits and then repeat this step for the mobile version of your website.
Once the mobile version is approved by you, another email with a link to pay your remaining 50% balance on your invoice will be sent. When payment is received, the website will be transferred into your own Wix account to ensure you have full ownership. We remain a collaborator by default in case you need any future support updating or maintaining your website. Then your domain and hosting plan are connected to your website and wahooooo your website is live!!
You then have the option to book a 45-minute complimentary training session to ask any basic questions about your new Wix website, updating it, and managing it yourself. Alternatively you could book a paid training session for groups of staff that will be managing your site for you.
